About David McClure

David McClure is a graphic designer based in Newcastle upon Tyne, north east England.

Born and raised in rural Northern Ireland, he studied at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle where he graduated with a First Class degree in graphic design.

In 2001 he established Velcrobelly as a trading identity for his graphic design and illustration work. David continues to create a diverse portfolio of print and screen-based graphic design projects for a wide range of clients, primarily based in Newcastle upon Tyne and north east England.

In October 2009 he married Lisa, his long-suffering partner in crime.
