1908 - The First True Olympics

FilmNova commissioned these poster designs for the cinematic premiere of their docu-drama about the controversial first London Olympics.

Using archive and contemporary diaries, interviews and newspaper reports to argue that the 1908 Games were the first true modern Olympics.

Two designs were developed from concept to completion. The first a colourful montage of narrative images, the second a homage to a London Journal newspaper-cover from 1908.
