Take Over Tyneside was a campaign celebrating Tyneside Cinema’s second anniversary at their redeveloped home on Pilgrim Street.

The cinema invited the public to nominate their favourite films and submit a reason why it should be screened. The film programme then ‘took over’ Tyneside for the duration of Saturday 22 May 2010.
