Create a powerful pitch deck for your film or TV project

How we create compelling visual stories that inspire funders and engage collaborators

What is a pitch deck?

A film or TV pitch deck is more than a presentation – it’s a strategic tool that brings your project’s core concept to life. It combines a sharp synopsis, visual mood board, and creative direction to make a compelling case for financing, casting, or packaging your production.

Pitch decks are used at various stages of production, from early development through to post-production, helping to secure funding, attract talent, and support sales and distribution efforts.

Development Stage

Most of the decks we design are created during the development phase. At this point, you likely have a script, a director, and a producing team in place.

  • We help you communicate the narrative vision, visual style, and creative approach of your project.
  • A well-crafted deck gives funders confidence in your concept and enables agents to attract talent.

Pre-Production

As your project progresses, your pitch deck becomes a tool to:

  • Secure additional funding partners
  • Finalise casting decisions based on attached talent
  • Refine messaging for film markets and sales agents

Post-Production

Your film is complete—congratulations! Now it’s time to:

  • Attract a sales agent, distributor, or streaming partner
  • Promote your project to festivals and buyers with a strong, market-ready presentation

We’ll help you create a deck that reflects your finished film while positioning it effectively for distribution.

Who we work with

We collaborate with directors, producers, and other key creatives during development to bring a unified vision to life. Whether you’re pitching for funding or preparing a film market package, we tailor each deck to your specific goals.

Producers
We’ve partnered with producers and development teams around the world to create pitch materials that speak the industry’s language. Whether you’re advancing a scripted feature, documentary, or series, we design decks that help open doors.

Directors
As an indie filmmaker, your voice and vision matter. We’ve had the pleasure of working with independent directors and producers worldwide, helping them express the heart of their story through customised, professional pitch presentations.

How long should a pitch deck be?

The ideal length depends on your project’s complexity:

  • For most projects, 15-20 pages or fewer is sufficient.
  • For documentaries or concept-heavy films, up to 30 pages may be appropriate to provide context or expert insight.

Why choose us as your pitch deck designers

We create bespoke pitch decks that are tailored specifically to your project – never forced into generic templates. Every element is custom-designed to reflect the unique vision and narrative of your film, from the first slide to the last.

Our approach combines design excellence with clear storytelling. A pitch deck should be both visually compelling and easy to read, even with minimal text. We break information into digestible sections, using thoughtful layouts that guide the viewer through your story.

Like a well-crafted film, our decks balance high-impact visuals with moments of calm, allowing your audience to engage, reflect, and absorb key information. Whether you’re pitching to investors, funders, or collaborators, we ensure your deck communicates your creative vision with clarity and purpose.

The narrative arc of pitch deck design: our process

So, how does it all work?
We treat every pitch deck design as a creative journey – structured much like a story. Here’s how our collaborative process unfolds:

Act 1 – The Set-Up

We begin by getting to know your project.

  • Initial Consultation: We’ll discuss your film’s story, vision, tone, and key influences.
  • Content Gathering: You’ll share your written content and any visual references you have. Don’t worry if you’re unsure – we can suggest page ideas and layouts.
  • Visual Research: We research imagery that captures your project’s aesthetic, emotion, and story. This helps us build a visual language unique to your film.

Act 2 – Rising Action

Now the creative design begins.

  • We present initial design concepts, including potential cover designs and sample narrative spreads.
  • These mockups showcase how your story might unfold visually in the deck.

We design most decks in landscape orientation (to match screen ratio). Portrait is an option if that’s more suitable for your subject matter. Please let us know if you have a preference.

Act 3 – The Resolution

With your feedback, we refine and finalise the deck.

  • We develop the complete pitch deck and present it for review.
  • Through a collaborative process of feedback and iteration, we fine-tune the design until you’re happy and ready to sign off.

Roll Credits – Final Delivery

You’ll receive two PDF versions of your pitch deck:

  • A compressed file optimised for email.
  • An uncompressed file ideal for high-resolution presentations on laptop or tablet.

If you want to share the full-quality version by email, we recommend using a file-sharing service or sending a hosted link.

Our decks are created using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, with Adobe Fonts. If you’d like to make future edits, we’re happy to provide the editable source files. (You’ll need access to the relevant software.)

And if you’d rather leave the updates to us, we’re always here to help.
