Tyneside Cinema established a temporary home at Gateshead’s Old Town Hall during the redevelopment of their Newcastle base. Velcrobelly was commissioned to brand the building in a fashion which would be familiar to their existing customer base and welcome new customers from the Gateshead area.

The scaffold which temporarily surrounded the building provided a perfect canvas to depict a colourful fantasy world where stars of cinema, past and present, have been literally boxed-up and relocated to the Old Town Hall.

This branding theme formed the core of a relocation campaign for the cinema. The exterior signage was produced on weather-proof coloured acrylic and the interior directional signs on sticky-back vinyl both printed and installed by Hooper Signs.
